NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF A GENERAL NATURE

The Court ClerksFriendship Association – Rechtspfleger:

-              Wascreated in accordance with the statutoryorder n° 2011-88 datedSeptember 24^th 2011, dealingwith the organization of associations;

-              Drawsitslegal and moral referencesfromitsstatutes, from the principles of tolerance, of objective democracy and of transparency, pillar of anysuccessfulcommunity action;

-              Within the framework of itsstatutes, activities and funding, the association sticks to the principles of the Rule of law, democracy, plurality, transparency, equality and humanrights;

-              Undertakes to refrain fromany communication on incitement to violence, to hatred, to intolerance and to discrimination based on religion, sex or region;

-              Refrains fromcollectingfunds in order to support political parties or independent candidates to any national, regional or local elections or providingthemwithmaterial support;

The Court ClerksFriendship Association – Rechtspflegeris a democratic, independent association with no political, unionist or religious objective.

MISSION AND OBJECTIVE

GENERAL PURPOSES

This association aimsat:

-              The effective follow-up of the situation of the court clerks of the judiciary, theirlegislativestatus and the administrative regulationsgoverning the committee of court clerks and contributes to the improvement of the organiclawrelating to the profession of court clerks;

-              Constituting a databaseconcerning the activities of the association whichwould serve as a reference and a source of information within the framework of the access to information right;

-              Presentingproposals and recommendationsaimingatoverhauling the institution of court clerks and the relevant generalpolicy;

-              Ensuring the reinforcement of the trust in judicial institutions and that of the court clerks and particularlyconsciousness-raising on their importance;

-              Workingtowards reforming the relationship and exchanges between the association and media and participating in creating media whichisspecialized in coveringlegal case.  

SPECIFIC PURPOSES

-              Working on developing the institution of court clerkswith all its components and institutions and seeing to schedulingstudiesrelating to the mission of court clerk and presentingrecommendations in thiscontext;

-               Acting for adequate media coverage and analysis of legal cases and following the events and facts in thisframework;

-              Suggestingrecommendations in order to ensure the widerdevelopment of the judicial system;

-              Making sure that justice shallbe an active tool in the social, economic, cultural and environmentaldevelopmentprocess and essentiallythatitshallbe a tool for promoting the acquisition of skills and reinforcing the main capacities of the profession of the court clerks of the judiciarythrough the development of the responsible, conscious and creativeindividualhaving an open mind on the world of sciences, knowledge and new technologies;

-              Centralizing and collecting all the data relating to the activity of the association, analysingthem and working in thiscontext to achieveoperations in the field for opinion surveys and drawing up statistics;

-              Working out scientificstudies, academicresearches and fieldworks in the domainshaving to do withitsactivities and the activities relative to it and acting in thiscontext in partnershipwith the universities, institutes, research and training centres and ensuring the participation of academicians, magistrates, bailiffs, notaries, experts and scientific experts in the specialtiesrelating to the activities of itscompetence;

-              Publishing the reports, studies, publications and guides for the development of the Tunisianjudicial system;

-              Establishingsolid and efficient relationships and partnershipswith the components of the civil society and

-              national and international organizationsworking in the fieldsrelating to the association activity as well as the centres, associations, trade unions and professionalgovernmental and nongovernmentalorganizations in order to exchange the information and data;

-              Publishingpress releases and taking positions, oral or written, as regards the subjectsrelating to justice and public opinion affairs;

-              Organizingseminars, conferences, training courses, meetings, studydays, workshops, visits and trips and editing publications of any type havingrecourse to all available publication media such as books, periodicleaflets, reports, films and websites and anyother civil activity;

-              Implementing a communication program in order to introduce the association, makingits objectives and activities know, organizingawarenesscampaignspertaining to itsactivities by acting in partnershipwith the media.
